Athenaeum Hotel & Apartments in London's Piccadilly, The Grove, a five-
star hotel in Chandler's Cross, Hertfordshire, and 23 Greengarden
House, our serviced apartments off Oxford Street, are one-offs, not me-
too outposts of a faceless chain.
The hotel has 180 rooms including three
large riverside apartments
facing the river. Many rooms feature river views and all feature
comfort, convenience and space. Their design varies from classic to
contemporary, with the individual touches of flair you'd expect from
one of the UK's largest privately-owned 4-star hotels.
Guests arriving by river or air can use
our private moorings or helipad
by prior arrangement. Room service is round-the-clock, check-in time is
2.00pm and we ask guests to check-out by 11.00am.
Please note there are additional charges
for use of the helipad and
mooring facilities.
With extra space and flexibility, the
Runnymede's three riverside
apartments are ideal for long-stay visitors. Blending luxury with
comfort, they feature a large living/dining room with a sofa-bed and a
bedroom with a king-size bed that converts to twin beds. The kitchen
has a fridge with freezer compartment, a hob and a microwave oven.
Not that you need cook, as 24-hour room
service is on hand, along with
maid and laundry service.
The extras in the Runnymede bedrooms
range from the fluffy (soft, thick
bathrobes) to the fast (broadband internet access).
Equipment is both low-tech (hairdryer and
trouser-press) and hi-tech
(interactive satellite television). The rooms have voicemail and a
separate broadband line for lap-tops. And when they're not playing with
all the kit, including a sewing-kit, guests can make tea, coffee or a
G&T to their exact specifications.

Each meeting room and conference room has
natural daylight and fully
controllable air-conditioning, many with the latest audio visual
technology. Each meeting or event is a one-off, individually tailored
to meet an individual brief. At the Runnymede, from 2 to 300 delegates
can exercise their minds and bodies.
Relax and unwind with a facial, a
manicure, reflexology or an Indian
head massage. Dip into our 18 metre pool, whirlpool, saunas and steam
room. Exercise at our dance studio or gymnasium or play tennis on one
of our outdoor courts.
Spoil yourself with one of our Day
Packages which include treatments
and lunch in the Garden Room and use of the spa facility. Choose one of
our packages such as the Revitalising Detox Day and the Indulgence Day.
Weekend Health Breaks are also available, including accommodation,
breakfast, dinner and a selection of treatments.
As a hotel guest, all the facilities of
the spa are at your disposal.
